Actually, it doesn't make a sound. The sound waves are produced, however, no one is around to hear it so therefore a sound is not made.		11/11/2009
HI NEWB. Yes because Sound waves are produced when the tree hits the ground and travel through the air, but you just dont hear it... HA!!!!		9/21/2009
