Title: The Lift

Riddle: A man lives on the 12th floor of a tower block. He gets the lift every day down to the ground floor to go to work. When he arrives back after work he gets the lift to the 6th floor and walks another 6 floors to floor 12 where he lives. Why does he go to the 6th floor and walk to the 12th floor?
